We love mountains. And with this quick trip to Yosemite we finally got to breathe a marvelous mountain scenery that we had not seen for quite some time.
Very different from what we are used to experience in Europe, since we do not have deserts, it was a surprise when we arrived in the valley gasping and flushed in this hot summer.
These mountains are gorgeous, they remind me of the Italian Dolomites.
But more bare and sinuous, with this enchanted silvery color of the rock, like giant sagging of precious minerals.

I was lucky enough to see the work of two young beekeepers. A charming and very hard work: essentially the purpose is to create optimal conditions for the development of the hive and in exchange collect a portion of the proceeds.
The day was fantastic, a sunny spring afternoon, great light and a gentle evening breeze. The beekeeper must know very well the hive that he has built, also have great patience and precision as not to upset the sensitive balance of the bees.
Coming home during the spring is always a unique experience: colors, smells and sounds surround you completely.
It is a wonderful period where our large poplars start the "flowering". This phenomenon happens once a year in the spring, when these trees during the blossoming, release this white "cotton" that are meant to carry the seeds at a great distance from the plant by harnessing the power of the wind.
